WILLIAM RIS GALLERY is excited to present ABSTRACT WOMEN, a dynamic group exhibition celebrating the expressive vision and originality of ten accomplished abstract artists: Anahi DeCanio, Madhu Powar Garg, Deborah Katz,  Neelam Padte, Roohi Saleem, Susan Saunders, Stacey Schuman, Andrea Thompson, Rasa Valiene and Carol Weinberg.

The show opens with a reception on August 22, 3:00–6:00 PM and will culminate on September 20th.

ABSTRACT WOMEN is the fourth themed exhibition of its kind presented by William Ris Gallery during its years on the East End of Long Island. Continuing the gallery’s tradition of thoughtfully curated exhibitions, the show highlights the diversity, innovation, and strength of women working in abstraction

Each artist brings a distinctive visual language shaped by her own imagination, process, and interpretation of abstraction. Together, their works create a compelling dialogue through color, movement, texture, and form, demonstrating the limitless possibilities of contemporary abstract art.
