Each year on April 22nd, Earth Day marks the anniversary of the birth of the modern environmental movement in 1970. In recognition of the annual global event, the William Ris Gallery in Jamesport NY is having a group show of artists who are inspired by nature and the environment.
Varies in scope, the "eARThNOFO" exhibit will include paintings, mixed media using sustainable earth friendly & repurposed materials, weaving and ceramics.
The show is running simultaneously with the "eARThHAMPTONS" exhibit at East Hampton's' Ashawagh Hall. The William Ris Gallery represents the organization's founder, artist Anahi DeCanio whose work will be included in our exhibition.
A jewelry collection built on the idea of bringing women together in a community to share stories and strength. We celebrate beautiful jewelry, it's creators and history, and are motivated not just by the missions of our designers but by those of people working to provide support and independence to women around the world. We donate 10% of all our sales to WFWI, an organization based on the idea that together we are strong women and strong women particularly in networks can help other women become stronger.
