Artist Bio

Susan B. Myers was born in New York City, grew up in New Rochelle, NY and now resides in Kennett Square, PA. A graduate of Carnegie-Mellon University, she studied with Rea Redifer, Charles Reid, Caroline Anderson, Eo Omwake and at the Philadelphia College of Arts. She is a signature member of the Philadelphia Watercolor Society, the Chester Country Art Association and the Delaware Foundation for the Visual Arts.

Myers has won numerous awards for her work, including the Thorton Oakley Memorial Prize given by the Philadelphia Watercolor Society. More recently, she won the Eloise Waggoner Memorial Prize for Collage, an Honorable Mention at the Chester County Art Association 2006 Member's Juried Show, an Honorable Mention at the Chester County Art Association All Media Show in 2004, Hardcastle Gallery Award at the University of Delaware's Goodstay Center in 2002, First Prize at the Chester County Art association spring 1998 Member's Show, and Pastel or Mixed Media at the Chester County Art Association 1998 Member's Juried Show.
