Artist Bio
As a plein air painter, I enjoy the peacefulness of nature and the challenge of capturing the beauty before me. Painting landscapes "en plein air" or subjects from life requires careful observance of light and shadow as it plays out rapidly before you. It is with great pleasure that I strive to create and to portray the beauty of the world around us. I have painted all over the United States and Europe. Each painting trip provided new subjects and each day would bring another source of light and energy for painting our of doors. Larger pieces are often created in the studio working from outdoor sketches.
